More Hillary Clinton supporters are "very excited" to vote in 2018 midterms than Trump supporters

According to a new survey from Public Policy Polling released today found that more Americans who voted for Hillary Clinton in 2016 say they are "very excited" to vote in the 2018 midterm elections than Trump's voters.

65 percent of Hillary Clinton's supporters say they are "very excited" to vote this fall, compared to 58 percent of those who supported Trump.

The poll also shows Democrats as having a lead on the generic congressional ballot.

49 percent of Americans said they would vote for the Democratic candidate in this fall's midterms, while 41 percent said they would vote for the Republican candidate.

The survey was conducted on Feb. 9-11 and the margin of error was 3.7 percent.
