Robert Mueller will interview Donald Trump face-to-face as part of Russia investigation: report

Robert Mueller is expected to interview Donald Trump as part of Russia probe within the next few weeks, according to a new report.

The Washington Post reported Monday that Special counsel Robert Mueller could interview Donald Trump within the next several weeks as part of Russia investigation.

"This is moving faster than anyone really realizes," A person close to the investigation told The Washington Post.

The report comes as Robert Mueller appears to be moving on to Trump's inner circle in his Russia probe.

Donald Trump, who has adamantly denied colluding with Russia, said on Saturday that the investigation makes "our country look foolish."

"There's been no collusion. There's been no crime. And in theory, everybody tells me I'm not under investigation," he told reporters at Camp David when asked about his willingness to meet with Robert Mueller.
