Rep. Adam Schiff: Ivanka Trump should testify before Congress in the Russia investigation

Rep. Adam Schiff, the top Democrats on the House Intelligence Committee, said he still has a long list of witnesses he wants to call to testify before Congress for the Russia investigation, including Jared Kushner and Donald Trump’s daughter Ivanka Trump, according to Reuters.

"I think that if there’s credible information that Ivanka Trump had contact with any of the participants in that meeting at the time of that meeting, she should be brought in," Schiff said.

Adam Schiff referred to a report from Los Angeles Times, which reported that Ivanka Trump met with Russian lawyer Natalia Veselnitskaya at Trump Tower during the 2016 presidential campaign.

Natalia Veselnitskaya told NBC News that she was not completely sure of the identity of the woman, but another source confirmed that the woman was Trump’s daughter Ivanka.

His remarks came shortly before it was reported that Stephen Bannon will testify before the panel next week as part of Russia investigation.
