About 600,000 sign up for ObamaCare in first four days

Despite Donald Trump slashing ObamaCare’s promotion budget by 90 percent, about 600,000 Americans have already signed up in just the first four days — with twice as many signing up on the first day this year as did on the first day last year, according to a new report from The Hill.

There were about 150,000 sign-ups per day on average for the first four days this year, compared to 84,000 sign-ups per day for the first 12 days last year.

ObamaCare numbers analyst Charles Gaba wrote on Twitter that the sign-ups are "more than I expected."

Many analysts have predicted a drop in enrollment due to uncertainty over ObamaCare plans and less outreach educating people when and how to sign up.
